Saying Goodbye to The Final ThresholdJanuary 10, 2006 After a year, I have decided to bring The Final Threshold to a close. Over the short year, I realized that I no longer have the momentum or motivation to keep this fansite updated. Moreover, I feel as if this site did no justice in providing good quality information on the film, the cast, and media. Yes, this is one of the few sites that managed to provide Phantom Phans with the soundtrack and a good amound of icons and wallpapers. Unfortunately, I feel that providing this small amount of media is simply not a good enough reason to continue running this fan site. I believe that I can use my time, energy, and web space in a much more productive manner. Even if you disagree with my reasons for closing down this site, I really do not have the time, energy, or inspiration to continue this site. College, work, and life itself is getting busier and busier each day; thus, I really need to focus my attention on things that matters most to me. That being said, all Phantom related icons and wallpapers will eventually be moved to Forever Today. As for the soundtrack, I will not be reposting it. I believe it is especially important for fans to go out and purchase the songs whether it is via iTunes or some record store. It is important that we support the creators and contributers of the film. At this time, I would like to ask you to visit other marvelous fan sites that are also dedicated to The Phantom of the Opera.
